From April 1 to october 30, on board the river cruisers “La Gabare” or “L’Ambacia” discover the Chateau de Chenonceau from a different angle , the magnificent creation of tuffeau stone which spans the river Cher, in the heart of the Loire Valley.

SEE CHENONCEAUX WITH THE GABARE

La Gabare is a traditional flat bottomed craft, typical of the Loire and its tributaries. The boat is equipped with awnings to protect you from the sun, and can carry 65 passengers on board.

SEE CHENONCEAUX WITH L'AMBACIA

L’Ambacia is a larger vessel, shallow draughted due to its honeycomb aluminium sandwich construction. with a flat bottom. Its lower deck seats 75 passengers , with an observation deck above, accessible for wheelchair users.
